How to Submit a Proposal
From XPDay
- Create an account on this wiki via the link in the top right corner of this page. Make sure you provide an email address. You will be sent a confirmation email and must respond before you can log into the wiki. Be careful that the confirmation email doesn't end up in your spam folder!
- Create a personal page for each presenter of the session. When logged in, you can edit your personal page by clicking on your user name link at the very top of the page. Each personal page should contain a bio (100 words max) and contact information, including your email address. Use the Presenter Personal Page Template as a starting point or guideline.
- Add a link to the (as yet nonexistent) page describing your session to the list on the Session Proposals (or Poster Proposals) page. The text of the link should be the title of your session.
- Click on the link to create the page. The text of the link will become the title of the new page. Use the Session Proposal Template as a starting point or guideline. Add links to the personal pages you created in step one in the "Organisers" section and fill in the other missing details. If submitting a workshop, ensure you have included the additional information required for workshop submissions as described in the Session Proposal Template and Call For Sessions.
By submitting a session, you agree to review sessions proposed by unrelated presenters during the review process (see How to Review Submissions).
This wiki uses the Mediawiki editing format.
