How to Review Submissions
From XPDay
How to review submissions during the Review Process.
[edit]
Overview
During the review period, each reviewer votes for and reviews the Session Proposals:
- Read the Session Proposals.
- Vote for the the sessions that you would most like to be presented XP Day.
- You have five votes to allocate to the proposed sessions and five other votes to allocate to the proposed posters. You can give all five votes to one session, give one vote each to five sessions, or any combination in between.
- Record your votes in the "discussion" tab of the submission you want to review.
- Along with your vote, include a short review of the proposal. What do you like about it? Could it be improved? Should it be accepted as it is, or does it need shepherding?
- "Sign" your vote and review: add a link to your user page at the end of the review by clicking the signature button at the top of the edit box.
- You're not allowed to vote for yourself, for any sessions proposed by somebody you're co-presenting with or for sessions presented by somebody who works for the same organisation as you.
- Please separate reviews by horizontal lines to help the programme commitee add up the scores.

Example
For example, a review might look like this:
Votes: 2
I think this is a topic of great importance. I'd like to to see the participants involved more. Perhaps the presentation can be broken up by short interactive exercises.
