SPA 2010 & joint XTC night on Tuesday May 18th

SPA2010 http://www.spaconference.org is taking place in London from May 16th-19th.

On Tuesday 18 May, there'll be a joint XTC + SPA2010 evening event in the Strand Palace Hotel. An evening of lively conversation, with a debate on Software Craftsmanship, a classic SPA panel game, and a chocolate tasting thrown in for good measure. XpDay 2009 starts in 4 weeks

Hi,

There are just four weeks to go before this year’s XPDay conference (7th & 8th December), so I’d like to bring you up-to-date with the latest news:

– Programme –

XpDay London 2009 - Registration Open

Sign up for XPDay London 2009, 7-8 December, Church House, Westminster.

We’re pleased to announce that booking for Xp Day 2009 is now open. Our 2009 prices are unchanged from last year - the full 2-day conference price is only £350, which is discounted to an early-bird price of £275 for the first 50 attendees. See http://www.xpday.org for details and to register online.

XP Day London 09: Call for Sessions

Submissions are now open for programmed sessions at XpDay London 2009, to be held 7th and 8th December 2009.

You are invited to propose a session for the first day of the conference. We are particularly interested in the following:

  • Experience reports - share your stories of challenge and success with Agile and Lean techniques. Experience reports will be intensively shepherded by experienced practitioners.
  • Hands-on technical sessions - share techniques and practices in practical sessions: workshops, tutorials, simulations

Help organise XPDay 2009

We hope you enjoyed your XpDay

We’re looking for new people to join the committee for XpDay 2009, and now is the time we start getting organised. This is your chance to bring your ideas, and help steer the conference towards what you want to see.

Q) Isn’t that a lot of work?

Not too much. We spread things across the whole year, and between a group of people. There shouldn’t be many points where there is lots to do - we want to work at a sustainable pace.

Q) I’ve never done anything like this before, will I be useful?

XPDay 2008 - registration now open

Sign up for XPDay London 2008, 11-12 December, Church House, Westminster.

Registration for XPDay is now open. XPDay sells out each year, so please book now. We operate a waiting list once the conference is full but only a handful of places subsequently become available.

Book now for XPDay 2007

Registration for XPDay 2007 is now open. The number of places is limited and XPDay sells out rapidly each year, so we advise you to book as early as you can.

This is it - last chance to see XPDay for free

Last call for sessions

If you’re thinking of submitting a session for XPDay, do it now! The final day for submissions is Tuesday 31st July.

Should you submit a session? We encourage you to share your ideas, knowledge and questions. Even if it’s incomplete; even if it’s bad news; even if it’s just a question, the programme committee can help you shape it into a session that will teach you as much as your audience. And if your session is accepted your place at XPDay 2007 is free.

XPDay 2007

We have brought together a number of mailing lists, waiting lists and conference attendence lists. This new low traffic list will be used to announce the conference opening and other important dates and details. You can remove your email address using the “XPDay news” form on the conference website.
